SmartShift provides an online comparison service for smart electricity tariffs. Our Service allows you to:

Compare electricity tariffs based on your smart meter data;

View personalised recommendations.
To provide these services, we work with a trusted third party provider to access your smart meter data, following your provision of consent.
User registration
To use certain features of our Service, you must submit some personal information and details on your home. We require that you:

Be a resident of the United Kingdom;

Provide accurate, current, and complete information.
Smart meter data access
To provide personalised tariff comparisons, we require access to your smart meter data. This access is:

Provided through our trusted partner, who obtain the data from the Data Communications Company (DCC), the regulated company responsible for managing GB smart meter data;

Subject to your explicit consent;

Used only for the purposes specified in our Privacy Policy;

Secured and protected in accordance with data protection laws.
You may withdraw your consent for smart meter data access at any time, but this may limit our ability to provide you with personalised comparisons.
Your obligations
